Classes Offered

Ashtanga- Beginner Basics (Beginners to Open Level)
Monday 5:15 PM - 6:30 PM

Great for people new to Ashtanga or for practicing yogis/yoginis who want to get back to the basics! Heidi will bring you safely through each of the asanas (postures) that make up the Primary Series. Instruction focuses on proper alignment and breathing. Modifications are introduced for those with physical limitations. This class builds safety, strength and confidence.

Ashtanga- Primary Standing & Finishing Series (Beg. to Intermediate) 8-Week session begins Sept. 13th
Saturday 8:30 AM - 9:45 AM

Join Heidi for a flowing yoga class that incorporates all of the standing asanas in the primary series. Class will wind down with the finishing sequences (backbends, shoulderstands, etc.) and close with shivasana(relaxation).
(Prerequisite: good physical condition and/or knowledge of Ashtanga Yoga.)



Ashtanga-Full Primary (Experience required)
Monday 6:40 PM - 8:10 PM

Heidi will guide you through the entire primary series, offering instruction in this intemediate/advanced class that will take your practice deeper physically and spiritually. (Not recommended if you have injuries or have not exercised recently. Experience required, or permission from the instructor.)

Ashtanga-HalfFull Primary (Begins Sept 25th)
Thursday 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Ready for a little more challenge In this class, Nerys will help you discover the "magic" of the whole series. You may have been doing Yoga for a while, or youre ready to learn fast. (Not recommended if you have injuries or have not exercised recently).

Ashtanga-Intro to Ashtanga (Beginners to Intermediate)
Thursday 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Nerys will guide you through the Primary series. This is a great introduction for beginners, and good workout for those who have practiced a little longer. Lots of individual modifications and explanations.

Baby & Me Yoga (call for dates)

For Moms/Dads and their little ones aged 3 months to newly walking. A great way to bond with baby, get back in shape and get connected to other Moms/Dads. Preregistration is required. 4 week sessions: $60 (1 adult & child)

Childrens Yoga- Session 5 ( Returns November 2008)
Monday 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Saturday 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

In this class taught by Heidi, children will learn about yoga through song, storytelling, creative movement, partner yoga and more. Childrens Yoga will teach kids how to release energy, find focus, create peace and learn more about themselves and the world they live in.

Monday classes: (Ages 4-11 yrs)

Saturday classes: Ages 8 to 12 yrs
Session 5 Dates: (Returns November 2008)

Cost options: $100/10-class kid-pass, $65.00/5 classes, or $15.00 drop-in

Free Community Yoga - September 14th
Sunday 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM

One Sunday a month, Chill Yoga offers a free yoga class to members of the community. This Sunday, try out Beginner Ashtanga with Heidi Audet. Open to all levels.

Kripalu DansKinetics- YogaDance! (Call for Dates)

Everyone can boogie--and will--in this smile making, sweat-producing, soul shaking workshop. This is about as much fun as you can have in an hour. Do not miss it! Bring your friends and family.

Kripalu Yoga - All Levels (Sept 2-Oct 21)
Tuesday 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM

Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi/yogini, this class will offer you a safe place to learn, explore and practice. Alice will guide you through breathing, postures and posture flows.

8-week series. Discounted attendance if you register through Auburn Adult Education! For all others, $12 drop in fee or $10 with a 10-class pass

Kripalu Yoga - Moderate (Sept 2-Oct 21)
Tuesday 4:45 PM - 5:45 PM

Alice will guide you through stretches, postures and posture flows that will help you get strong and grounded. Join the fun and watch your practice take flight.

8-week series $72. Call to register! Minimum 4 students. Only $9/class if preregistered. If minimum is met, drop ins will be welcome: $12 drop in fee or $10 with a 10-class pass

Kripalu Yoga- Gentle (Sept 2-Oct21)
Tuesday 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM

Alice will guide you through stretches and postures to awaken your practice and deepen your connection to yourself.

Prenatal Yoga (4-wk session: TBA)
Saturday 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Instructor: Heidi Audet
This 4-week session is geared for all stages of pregnancy. Learn relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and yoga postures to help strengthen and prepare your changing body for childbirth.
Pre-registration required. Please consult your health care practitioner before attending any yoga classes.

Cost: $45.00 for 4 weeks.

Vinyasa Yoga for Health and Fitness (Last class July 22, 2008- Next session returns in January 2009)
Tuesday 4:45 PM - 5:45 PM

This special series for health and fitness will be lead by Heidi. Each class, begins with a 30 minute flowing yoga class, continues with a 15-minute workout on specific muscle groups, and concludes with deep relaxation. This vinyasa class is suitable for most beginners and intermediate yoga practitioners. Call to register.
