Kimberly Allen

Kimberly Allen has been a student of yoga for over 15 years and has been teaching for 8 years. After studying Integrative Yoga Therapy with Joseph and Lillian LePage, her passion for yoga grew and led her to offer yoga in the medical setting. Kimberly soon began to expand her teaching beyond therapeutics and now teaches various styles from traditional Hatha classes: Vinyasa, Kundalini and Yin Yoga. She is currently studying Advanced Vinyasa Flow with Shiva Rea. Kimberly´s inspiration comes from the light she sees shine forth from her students when they are in the flow of yoga.

Julie Gammon

Julie Gammon I began my personal journey with yoga at 30 because I couldn´t touch my toes. I continued my home practice off and on for 8 years, before my path of selfhealing and healthful living brought me to enroll in the ShivaShakti School of Yoga teacher training program. The style I teach is a traditional Hatha Yoga with some Vinyasa, Sivananda and Ashtanga influence. I look forward to further studies in yoga with Patricia Walden, in therapeutic yoga, and various other healing modalities. I am continually amazed by the way yoga makes me feel physically, emotionally and spiritually, and I feel extremely privileged to be able to share this ancient form with you.

I believe that every person has the ability to embark on their journey with yoga at any point, in the body they have right now. Rejuvenate your body, reclaim your health and renew your soul!

Heidi Audet

Heidi L. Audet has been practicing primarily Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga for more than 10 years, having first been "dragged to the mat" by her friend, Tammy Begin-Leblanc.  She continues to practice Ashtanga with the folks at Yoga East in Portsmouth, NH and with friend and Chill Yoga partner, Nerys Bayley. Heidi is a certified yoga teacher, trained in DanceYOGA (TM), Color Me Yoga (TM) For Children, Levels I & II, and Yoga Trance Dance (Shiva Rea).  Yoga teachers who have influenced her teaching style are Shiva Rea, David and Doug Swenson, Kimberley Dahlmann,  Nikki Doane, Eddie Modestini, and Nancy Gilgoff. Heidi is currently studying Advanced Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Shiva Rea.

"I have a deep and profound love of Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga. The  transformative power of yoga has changed my life in ways I never expected, and for that I am grateful. My practice infuses me with such peace, love and clarity, that I am compelled to share my passion with others. I am most excited about the collaborative effort that yoga can bring to the members of a community, and I am honored to be a part of the yoga energy in L/A."

Paul Jones

Paul Jones has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga since 2005.  In February of 2010, he became a 200hr. certified yoga teacher upon graduating from YOGAspirit(tm) Studios (South Hamilton, MA).  Paul´s training also includes yoga workshops with David Swenson and Nancy Gilgoff, both nationally recognized Ashtanga Yoga Masters.

At 67, Paul began practicing yoga at the recommendation of his personal physician. This decision came following a discussion of his concern for his slightly rounding shoulders and a noticeable slowing of pace since his retirement in 2001.  Paul joined a class taught by Yoga instructor Heidi L. Audet, R.Y.T., and very soon noticed positive changes to his body.  He now stands straight, his step is lively, and he reports that he no longer gets lightheaded when bending over to tie his shoes.  He also speaks of another unexpected benefit: an elated sense of wellbeing after a yoga class.

Because of his personal, positive experiences with yoga restoring his posture, increasing his flexibilty and stamina, Paul has a desire to share his experience with others, of all ages.

Gabrielle Copely

My journey in yoga began in 1995 when, after years of disconnecting with my body, I realized that I could either continue down the path I was on or make a change. I made the decision to change and this brought me to my first yoga class. From this first class, my relationship with yoga steadily grew. Yoga has brought me a connection with my body, mind and spirit in a way that nothing else ever has. Yoga has also given me the courage, love and compassion needed for my massage practice, being a mother to 3 young boys and to navigate through life’s many ups and downs.Having been a massage therapist for more than 10 years, I have been on many journeys with individuals who are coming home to their bodies again. A desire to guide my clients and family further along their own path of healing and to share the love I have found with yoga brought me to Kriplau Center for Yoga and Health. There, I became certified through the 200-hour teacher training course. My love and passion for yoga continues to grow as I see the impact it has not only had in my own life, but the lives of my students.

Nerys Bayley

Nerys Bayley  My practice is firmly rooted in the traditional style of Ashtanga Yoga to which I was introduced 9 years ago.  I had previously tried other styles of Yoga over the past 20 years, but this was the one that really fitted for me.  Being committed to a daily practice is not always easy, but the rewards are well worth it and resound palpably in all aspects of life.  Being able to share this with others through teaching is an honor, and my faith in the practice is continually affirmed by seeing how it touches students and their lives. I have been very fortunate to have studied with some amazing teachers, including Nancy Gilgoff and David Swenson.  I am also inspired by my teachers Kimberly Dahlmann and Karen Varney from YogaEast in Portsmouth, NH.  As a result of my asana practice, I have also become a keen student of the Yoga Sutras.
